You can add documents right to your section as a page via Web Content Tool by using Scribd.com. Your document can be viewed right on your page without having to open another window leave your page. 
Use this to post virtual books for classes, manuals for training, word docs, etc.

Upload your document with the button on the top right

       

Upload by selecting files or dragging a file to Scribd

       

Upload more files...

     

OR fill out the Title and Description and Save & Continue in the bottom right

     

Click Share then Embed

      

Before copying the embed code, you have options for the document to start at the beginning or on a specific page and the document view format

          

Copy the large code in the box on the left to a blank word document or notepad page; Part of the link must be extracted


       


Do not paste the whole code to your catalog, it will not work in Velop.

Next, in your section, Add a Web Tool

    
 
Paste the URL into the Web tool under Settings by double clicking on the tool

    

Resize and move the tool how you wish

    

Publish before viewing section. 
In the live section, users can scroll through the slides
